Jamie Trower is a poet, journalist, publisher, actor, and motivational speaker from Auckland, New Zealand. He works for M2 magazine as a writer. He has interviewed or worked alongside Oscar, Logie, Grammy, Man Booker, and Golden Globe nominated/winning artists.

Trower’s poetry has been published nationally and internationally, in places such as The Sunday Gleaner (JAM), Atlanta Review (USA), Poetry NZ (NZ) and Best New Zealand Poems (NZ). In 2015, he launched his first full collection of poetry, Anatomy, with Makaro Press. His second book, A Sign of Light, was launched in 2018 under The Cuba Press. In 2021, he and fellow Auckland poet, Sam Clements co-edited This Twilight Menagerie: A Whakanui of 40 Years of Poetry Live! His third book, Rust Belt, is to be launched early 2023 under his own BIRDBOY PRESS.
