Anatomy

Auckland-based poet and actor Jamie Trower suffered a traumatic brain injury from skiing head first into rocks on Mount Ruapehu. Only nine, he spent months in a coma and two years living at the Wilson Centre in Auckland. Anatomy is the story of Jamie's rehabilitation. Whatever was thrown at him he refused to be knocked back. In this raw and astonishing work, Jamie writes of his disability as a struggle, but one that has offered him his own kind of beauty.
